The spa at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort was inspired by an ancient legend surrounding the search for the elixir of youth and has been built as a sanctuary where you can relax and enjoy a moment of blissful serenity. Golf
Love golf? You’re in luck! Waikoloa Beach Resort is home to two incredible courses – the Beach Course and The Kings’ Course. Play a stunning 9 or 18 holes and then make your way back to your beachfront paradise for an island-inspired lunch steps from your cottage. Each course has been built on ancient lava fields creating an amazingly picturesque contrast between the evergreen fairways, black lava rock, blue lakes, and the shimmering Pacific.
Kings’ Golf Course
Waikoloa’s classic Kings’ Golf Course was designed by former British Open champion Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and offers Big Island golfers a 7,000+ yard links-style that meanders over and around an ancient lava flow. Its wide, undulating fairways are framed by palm trees with mighty Mauna Kea visible in the distance. Multiple tee placements and challenging pot bunkers add complexity to the Scottish “links” experience, complete with a double green on holes #3 and #6.
Beach Golf Course
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the Beach Golf Course at Waikoloa is built around awe-inspiring lava flows near Anaeho‘omalu Bay. The immaculate greens are well-guarded by white sand bunkers and water features. The favorite Big Island golf experience is often the Beach Course’s 502-yard par-5 seventh—naturally Hawaii’s most spectacular oceanfront par-5. The Beach Course is not only challenging, it’s also the perfect place to spy humpback whales and other Hawaiian islands of Maui and Lana‘i.
