• What are your hours of operation?
We serve food continuously from 11:00am – 9:00pm on Mondays through Fridays, and open at 10:00am on Saturdays and Sundays for our Bloody Mary Beach Brunch. The chef’s special dinner entrees begin at 5pm. Our bar serves till 10:00pm nightly. While some restaurants close between lunch and dinner, we stay open and while our chef’s are setting up for dinner, we serve a limited but discounted happy hour menu!

• How close is Lava Lava Beach Club to the beach?
We’re a beachfront property, situated directly on nine pristine acres of beachfront real estate on Anaeho’omalu Bay in Waikoloa Beach Resort. Each of our contemporary Hawaiian cottages offers stunning views of the ocean and sunsets. Can’t get much closer than that, now can you?
• How far is Lava Lava from the airport?
We are approximately 19 miles from Kona International Airport (KOA).
• How can we book a wedding or special event?
We can accommodate almost any size group from 10 to 1000 at either the beach, the oceanfront ‘Lava Lawn’ or the entire facility. The lawn can accommodate 600 guests seated, the beach approximately 400 guests. For special events contact Paradise Gourmet Catering at 808-326-1244 or email@example.com. • Do the contemporary Hawaiian cottages include internet access?
Yes, every room offers free WiFi. We don’t like the idea of “nickel and diming’ our guests with add on charges.
• What kind of housekeeping service does Lava Lava Beach Club provide?
We work hard so you don’t have to! Each cottage receives daily housekeeping services for your comfort. We change bed linens every 3 days.
• How do I get some sand between my toes?
Come stay at Lava Lava Beach Club! We’ve got everything you and your loved ones need to have a relaxing beach vacation, an active Hawaii excursion, beachfront wedding, or party. We promise you’ll have a great time and will get those little piggies nice and sandy.
• Are meals included?
No, meals are not included in cottage rates, but the Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant offers great snacks, entrees, drinks, and dessert you can enjoy steps from the beach.
• Do you have a concierge?
We don’t have a concierge on staff but we have great people who are always willing to help, talk about the island and suggest great activities to try!
• What amenities do the cottages have?

• What bath amenities do you provide?
We are glad to provide complimentary Hawaii-made tropical bathroom amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, facial soap, and body soap.
• Is smoking permitted in the cottages?
We’re sorry, but all Lava Lava Beach Club cottages are non-smoking! In fact the entire club is non smoking including the beach.
• Do you have a pool?
We do not have a pool on property, but each cottage is literally steps from the crystal clear waters of Anaeho’omalu Bay! We also offer pool access deal with the neighboring Hilton Waikoloa Village & The Marriott. Click here for more details.
• Do you provide beach or pool towels?
Yes! We do provide beach towels in each cottage.
• Do you have a restaurant?
Why, yes we do! We have a fabulous beach club restaurant and bar, just steps from our contemporary beach cottages.
• How many floors are there at Lava Lava?
Lava Lava Beach Club has only one floor: Beach-level. If one thing is for sure, you’re destined to get some sand between your toes during your stay!
• What bedding options are available?
Each contemporary Hawaiian cottage offers a spacious king size bed, with luxurious linens. The hardest decision you may have to make is staying in bed vs. stepping out onto the beach. The sitting area also includes a queen size “punee” which is a Hawaiian day bed. Luxurious linens including down duvets will make your night restful.
• When was Lava Lava Beach Club built?
Lava Lava Beach Club opened its doors in July, 2012.
• Do you offer ADA rooms?
One of our cottages is ADA assessable. Please indicate this request when booking.
• Do you have a resort fee, what is the fee, & what does it include?
No! Lava Lava Beach Club offers you the best setting in Hawaii with no resort fees.
Come on! Resort fees would not be very much fun, now would they?
• Do you offer babysitting service?
Need a night out, eh? We do not offer babysitting but there are some available in Waikoloa.
• What are your front desk hours and what if I am checking-in late?
No front desk here at Lava Lava Beach Club! Our cottage concierge will be in touch with you prior to arrival to coordinate checking you in right in your cottage or at the restaurant.
• Do you allow dogs?
Unfortunately, dogs are not welcome in restaurants in Hawaii. But we have never seen a dog steal towels or silverware so we welcome them in the cottages! They are not welcome at Waikoloa resort common areas so please be advised of this. We will count on their “parents” to be accountable for any additional cleaning or damages should they occur. We are happy to provide one of our custom beds for your pooch – matching the “aloha-contempo” style of LLBC is important, after all!
• What are the taxes in Hawaii?
Hawaii has a General Excise Tax (GET) of 4.166% on all purchases. In addition, there is a Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) of 9.25% on all room nights. Not fun, we know but the governor makes us!
• Do you have a concierge?
We don’t have a concierge, but we do have a lot of friendly staff members ready to help and make recommendations for great activities and restaurants and things to do.
• Can you hail us a cab?
Yes, would be glad to call a taxi for you. The cabs around Waikoloa often come from Kailua-Kona, so at least 30 minutes’ notice is requested. It’s recommended that big island vistors get rental cars though. After all it’s a big island! Each cottage has a covered carport. There is also a shuttle that makes stops around the Waikoloa Beach Resort.
• Is the exact cottage guaranteed?
We will always try to honor your requested cottage, but on a very rare occasion we may not be able to accommodate your request and therefore reserve the right to move locations of your reservation.
